After a traffic stop on Highway 86 right outside of Clarendon on Friday night, 3 Holly Grove men are facing Felony drug charges. Sherman Whitfield, Tedrix Davey and Steven Tyler were stopped driving a 2000 GMC Yukon. The men fled from Arkansas State Troopers and were captured on video throwing cocaine and marijuana from the vehicle. They are charged with Possession of Controlled Substance with purpose to Deliver - Crack Cocaine, Possession of Controlled Substance with purpose to Deliver - Marijuana and Fleeing. Whitfield is also charged with Resisting Arrest. The 3 men appeared before District Judge David Carruth today where their bond was set at $50,000. Whitfield and Davey are parolees and have a parole hold placed on them. Their next court appearance date will be in Monroe County Circuit Court on August 6th.
